Distilling Whisky on Vancouver Island The Comox Valley is becoming known as the "New Provence", thanks in large part to an ever expanding high-end agricultural base that includes organic vegetable farms, an international award-winning cheese producer, vintners, brewers and now a distiller. Shelter Point Distillery is in the early stages of building the infrastructure to brew whisky from barley grown on the premises. Havers Design is in the early stages of branding this exciting new venture.
